G'Day all,

Finally i have got around to uploading some pics of the Y62, I have had since new Feb 2013, I have done some good trips back up north, furthermost being 80 mile beach. Haven't done much down south yet but hoping to get into a few spots before it cools down. The pics will pretty much speak form themselves on what has been done. Early January a custom rear draw system will be fitted, i will upload pics once done. I am also waiting on Pacemakers to manufacturer extractors for the Y62, they said it will be done in the new year sometime.... The exhaust is custom made from Marks Workshop in York WA. A cat back twin 2 1/2 to a single 3 1/2 high flow system. A noticeable difference from just the exhaust as the dyno print out shows bellow. We did some test with the air system and it performance fine with the factory setup, no mods there needed. Plenty more to come guys

Purtrol - great looking rig. Tell us more on what you've done and what you are planning to do!
Tyers and wheels?? What are they?
Suspension work yet?
Cost of the exhaust mods?

Thanks

Cheers guys, the rims are factory plasti dipped in matte black with Mickey Thompson Baja STZ 275/70 R18. The custom exhaust cost around $3500 fully stainless, it sounds mint under load. I am waiting on the rear draw system and a few other bits and pieces before I decide on suspension, it is still factory. it has got a onboard ARB air compressor ready to suit front air lockers ?.

Pretty good results from the exhaust! Definitely something to look into in the future, my brother just had a 4 inch snorkel and aftermarket airbox fitted to his td42 and it made a huge improvement, I reckon the big v8 would love a similar setup

Sherpa4x4 are looking to develop a snorkel for the y62 this year some time. I guess if there is a lot more interest going to then about having one they may fast track this?

It will have more of a factory look I think , comparing the work they do for other models.

ST-L or Ti-L

Purtrol
what model do you have, can't quite pick it on the rear of your pic.
Love to consistently see the model and all your mods detailed in your 'Signature'

I sent this post to my 'Tuner' in Melbourne
His comment was
"The power gain seems unbelievable...''
