4wd action is there at the moment. Might see graham there!

Does anyone know if the Yarramunmun fire trail is open or locked, I am thinking of going to the dam for the long weekend and doing Monkey Gum on the way home.
Is it usually quite busy on the long weekends?

That camp ground at the Yawal dam is always busy on long weekends. Mostly dirt bikes. Still probably plenty of room, it's a big site. Don't know about Yarramunmun.

Dune, we should be on 27 while out on the tracks. We will be there Friday night, rumours are 6 stage has been dozed for fire access???? Id say the 4wd action team will be well and truly gone by the time long weekend gets here, they don't normally like filming with a huge crowd!

If you guys are 4wd'ing just watch out for bogan idiots on dirt bikes, they seem to be getting worse at Yalwal. I was there last weekend and I nearly cleaned up 2 teenage girls in singlets on unregistered MX bikes, only the fact that I'm a rider myself and tend to be more vigilant than most avoided them head butting my bull bar.

I know 12 months ago a few trails were bulldozed when the Deans Gap fire was burning but I can't say if the six stage was. I can't imagine that it would have served any purpose to the RFS as the fire didn't come that far and even if they were fighting the fire there they'd use the creek to burn off.

I dont think its possible to bulldoze 6 stage haha. Would evan be a struggle for a dozer

Yarramunmun top has been closed for a few years now. No more vehicle swallowing bog holes.

What is the 6 stage track you guys are talking about? Is that the old walking track?

Its the crazy panel damage for sure one haha

Double post

so we were originally going to come in to yalwal via the yarramunmun Fire Trail off the Braidwood rd, Is it still possible to access this track all the way to yalwal? or is there another way other than going all the way into Nowra?
Thanks in advance
