Who is running Yuri CVs? Have you had any issues?

Forgive my ignorance, but in what situation would you want to disengage the rear drive?

rip on the handbrake, dissconnect rear drive , turn front wheels and drive to drag the front end around an obsticle

hey guys ive had a set in my ute for 5 months now no dramas, broke a standard cv so i got a set of yuris and no dramas since its a gq coil cab ute td42t running 35's 6 inch lift superflex arms and twin air lockers , and i go out every second weekend at least, not a drama with then at all and damien from yuri ws really helpful definetly worth it.

had a set in my gq shorty for 4 months before it got sold, twin locked on 35s never had a problem even driven with anger a few times, worth the money knowing you could drive it a little harder and not worry about breaking a cv mid track

I ve got a set on my patrol running an ls1 engine and so far they ve been ok. Was winching the other wknd with locker on and snapped my axle. Not the cv

well that to me seems pointless... wouldn't you be better off with the CV as the weakest link??

Anyways. A couple of people that I know are running them after breaking a std CV and no complaints so far

I would agree, whats a set of new axles worth? Alot more than a set of CVs

Well the story goes i was winching and driving til the winch wouldnt pull anymore and id back up a metre or so dig some dirt out and try again i forgot i had my car in reverse, started winching and driving. then BANG, So i guess something had to give and im lucky it was only an axle rather than the winch. Axle is a quick fix in the end

i have been thinking about getting a set of these.. after putting my front locker in i have destroyed 2 std units (left and right) and 2 heat treated cvs from another supplier (both right side).. the other options are put a gu front in my gq or save some dollars and go cal offroad. . . .

i would wanna be breaking cvs before axles. alot easier to remove than a busted axle.
i havent got a set but have never heard anything bad about them
