Just thought id share a story FYI.
About a week ago my ZD30 lost power.
I spent hour's looking for a mechanic to look at it but to no avail.
I got a hold of a mechanic who said it sounded like the pipes to the turbo were blocked and so to go buy 2 cans of Liquymoly and put them down the intake to burn out any soot and gunk.
After nearly $300 with a gregories book included, nothing worked.
I was still getting power but only from 3k to 4k rpm which was painfull and hills were near impossible to get past 60kph!!
After lots of looking and head scratching, i happened to see the protective foam around the turbo diaphragm hose had a small piece chomped out of it!
Turns out upon closer inspection, a blooming rat had chewed the foam away and sliced a hole in the pipe!!
Small hole but big headache!!
Hopefully this may help others if they suffer the same power loss as i did!?!?
Pete

Yes, most of the time, loss of power comes from cracked/unplugged vacuum hoses. and there are many meters to check under the bonnet.

Did you try an ODBII sensor? Sounds like you either have no boost or in limp mode.
