does the gas have a bad smell?? or does your air con stop working after being on for a while. if it does stop working after being on for a while it is probably just icing up the evaporator and what you are seeing is just the mist off a big block of ice that forms over your evaporator. early GUs had a problem with their thermisters & they often need replacing because they are not adjustable.

 

99% Sure it's just condensation. Mine does the same in certain weather conditions.

Your system is probably running a bit more efficiently since the re gas etc.

If you are still concerned whack a metal saucepan in the freezer overnight then hold it near the vents when you turn on the Aircon. Gotta take it out of the freezer first though. You should get water droplets forming on the metal.

 

i was told today that it's my condensator. The box below the glove box. It's leaking green dye through a bolt back into the engine bay.

Is this right?
This is what the guy from th air con place said. He says that i need to get a new box costing around $900 all up.

you see, your in Victoria where it's cold and rainy. I'll be on Sydeny and the gOld Coast where its warmer and hotter. Plus, theres no road around here that i can go 130 on legally.
