TB42 Idle troubles

New to the forums.

Little background info.

Car is a 92 GQ wagon TB42 efi motor running duel fuel (possibly Impco 200 mixer?). Runs well on both Petrol and gas though sometimes has a rough idle on petrol.

The main problem is after slowing down with any sort of extended engine braking, the motor will idle very low and eventually die all together. It does this on Petrol and Gas.

Any ideas on possible causes would be appreciated.

Hi,
It may be your idle air control valve needs cleaning/adjusting, it will be mounted on your intake manifold and it will have a large rubber hose going to it and also a electrical connector, you can either spray carby clean or something similar in the valve with the hose removed engine stopped and then start engine and spray in valve if engine will idle/run.
