Yeah - just got the standard one. Thought I would go for a bigger one and a fan.

Do I need too?

ATM my EGT's do not get over 500 degrees pre turbo.

Thought A bigger one would keep my EGTS's down further on the beach on the hot days in summer - Would a fan be on my existing one be fine? - Also I am looking to get my pump rebuilt and too 11mm specs.

Cheers.

I dont see the hype in overpriced kits with small intercoolers. Make a kit yourself. If you want to go cheap you can either get a large ebay intercooler for around 200 bucks and piping / welding will cost a few hundred tops.

Personally though if you are skeptical about weld quality and overall quality of the cheaper ebay items, just hunt down decent sized factory intercoolers of other cars.

Lots of saabs and volvos have massive intercoolers stock. My personal favourite are the factory intercoolers you find on Mitsubishi evo 7 8 9. They are a good length and slightly thinner then normal allowing them to fit easier without cutting into your grill.
