I visited a TJM dealer in canberra about 2 weeks ago regarding a bull bar.

His bull bar pics on a y62 included a snorkel. The pics were shot on a beach location.

The salesman stated that it was fitted to their main test drivers vehicle and while not available now shouldn't be too far off.

It looked ok on a vehicle that was silver grey.

Page 19 of the April 4x4 magasine has a TJM add showing the Snorkel on a Y62 together with their Explorer bar and yes it was a grey Y62

Ebay Y62 snorkel....
Just do a search and you will find the Tanami snorkel.
These are made by the company that make the genuine snorkels.

Genuine is TJM/Airtec.
That Tanami looks rather small in diameter to let a 5.6 litre breathe properly.

I have just spoken to ECB Brisbane who have Tanami y62 snorkels.

Price is about 500 for the unit and fitting about 300.

They have a couple of pics they can send.

i still think i'd like the 4 inch stainless, powdercoated black though, the polished does stand out too much, i'd plastidip my grill and other chrome bits to match and it will look decent i think, time to hit up fatz for a price.

You are possibly right but for us OS, I'm not willing to let someone make R&D on my car to get the job done. Raslarr won't supply only, to my knowledge, so plastic is fantastic

If its a real offroader the stainless would look great and be part of the offroad persona.
