For the whole motor ECU box ect should get minimum $8000, If the car is in perfect condition and you just want to convert the motor and box why not sell your while it might be worth some coin and buy a Patrol with a blown motor for cheap and start from there?

 

80,000km sounds like a fairly new car. Looking for one with an engine that's gone probably means going backwards to a fairly old car. The costliest things to replace are often the interior and exterior parts, not mechanicals, if they are in poor condition.

 

Yeah I thought about the chassis with a blown motor scenario but since I'm won't be relying on the coin from selling the motor for the conversion I wouldn't be in a huge rush to sell it so hopefully I could get a good price.

I may yet end up selling the whole rig and buying a coil cab and doing the conversion on that... Can't make up my mind!!! Depends how much I'd get for the vehicle as a whole.
