Hey guys.

Any one got orange wheels?

I sprayed some orange marking paint on my spare to see what it looks like - I'm impressed.

Anyone have photo's???

This is what mine looks like...

Well I'm a very loud person and I don't want to go down the same road as everyone else with the typical black powder coat, granted I've wanted that over white, but orange for me personally looks good with the blue.

I might waste $100 on spray paint to see what combo's I can get. I do like the orange dish with a thin black trim on the out side. I'll do that this weekend and post how it goes. Or I might paint the right side black and the left side orange to see which is more appealing to the eye.

I hope you at least took it off the car when you sprayed it. lol

Done properly and matched with other bits and pieces it could look pretty good. If/when you do it, get them powder coated. They'll last a lot longer.

haha yes I did spray it on whilst on the car,
No paint is on the barn door (even behind the wheel) it's water based marking paint so it just washes off.

I'll get orange gaffa tape to match the wheels ;)

I'm going to do it properly when I make a decision...

At least it's not like getting a tattoo while your drunk and then realising what a stupid thing you did and can't undo it. :D

When you get tired of orange, try pink. Yom may come and help you choose the correct shade.:D:D:D

Cheers

Make sure you put the pics up Deccers. I'd love to go Lime green or yellow or something with mine once i've finished the tube bars, at least mines only a beat up old GQ :D . Just beware if you use paint, it doen't last very long. The black i painted my play rims in is chipping off after barely 5 or 6 outings, and i actually prepped them properly.

Ray: haha like my RM WILLIAMS tattoo...... LOL

Andy: yeah who knows I may want to change colours after 5 or 6 outtings :p. I'll go through the bloody colours of the rainbow by the end hehe.

I like it Deccers and I like Mike's suggestion of orange pinstriping too.

A few examples of orange with blue paint:

i painted a troopy at work that had bright yellow sunnies, i dunno if he did it cos the wheels were "sunnies" or he just wanted to be diffrent.
Also my old man got 6 steel wheels for his Prado that he was gonna put some more aggresive tyres on for play, he then was gonna spray them all bright and obnoxious colours just to annoy the stuck up prado people cruising the streets.

The more you make your car stand out, the more chance you will be noticed by the fun police and the more chance you will be defected for something or other that they WILL find on your car. Stick to black, white or silver if you value having your car on the road.
