Just interested to see how people choice to use there time.

Mine are to explore, socialize, sample the beers of the world, be fair (maybe taken as harsh) to friends, family and the community and women are the object of desire (particularly something they have) and I wish to practice breeding with some as mother nature intended:p.

Fishing diving surfing and not in any particular order, used to be sex, drugs and rock and roll, but the sex has slowed down, to many piss tests for the drugs and you dont get good rock and roll any more so moved to blues.

The wife and I do a fair bit of work for older pensioners. Wife takes them shopping etc, I do minor repairs for them, mow their lawn etc (some are pretty broke on the pension, especially it they had health dietary needs and cant do generic cheap foods), and we visit an old peoples home twice a week to play cards with the dear old souls. The got some great stories, other than that I am a, grouchy, bad tempered social misfit, pretty normal I would say......

Far from it Estcove, just think it’s a crime the way western society treats the people who gave them that society in the first place. A year or so back there was a discussion on this on the radio with people calling in and saying their peace on the subject.

The amount of young people who called in and said that old people were a drain on the resources that should go to the young was truly astounding and very sad.

You don’t see it in the so called 3rd world; they look after and cherish their elders. We could learn a lesson on this, but people are just too greedy and self centered to care.

As mother nature intended, we are here to Eat, sleep, breed and poo. not always in that order.
everything else we do on the way is just a bonus.

I like to be physically and mentally active and achieve perfection in whatever I try, I also like to treat people the way I would want to be treated, I like to expand my horizons by seeing as much of the world as I can and meet different people from different cultures, and stay away from the cities, this is what motivates my life.

And, if I ever get too old and frail to hold a license to drive my beloved Troll, that will be the end of geeyoutoo.

Ah...the meaning of life. There isn't one, or, if there is, I don't know what it is.

This is what all the great philosophers down the ages have agreed upon. Who am I to suggest anything else?

I do know this...peace of mind comes from just being. Sit in your garden, consider the plants and the birds. If you can find peace for half-an-hour by meditating, then you are well on the path.

Remember that you are only one human in the torrent of history. Be at peace while you are here.
It's only a short time, so make it a good time.

It's 42, I thought you of all people would have known that.

I do not thank anyone for my existence, I wait for no approval for my doings. I am equally a part of this world. No one can tell me where I fit. I am a one of a kind creature. What I do is up to me and unique to me.

I am motivated by the fact that the world wont be coming to me, I need to seek it.

The meaning of life is to find happiness or just be happy anyway. Why cant you just be happy now? What possessions do you gotta have? I f***ing hate possessions......

And living in hope that oneday we will not need to be ruled by governments and a law, but simply that our natural choices will just happen to work with others......hahaha now im talking out my ass....

Most of us start off with that one my friend, however, once they get out of the coup and spread their wings you get time to the the really selfish stuff, like what you yourself want to do.:D:D

Hmm... It seems i'm living to work at the moment :( not working to live...

My attitude however is, i like stuff. I need to buy said stuff. So i work for money. But the missus takes my money to buy stuff. So in reality i'm working to keep the missus happy... Isn't this waht we all do !

Nah, my philosophy is tomorrow will be yesterday, one day.

I live for my dogs and wife, friends and family. These are my real joys in life at the moment.

But outback has a good exit plan!

Damn straight Estcove, seen them 17 times on 4 different continents, last was Tampa for the Bigger Bang tour, even got to go to the Amsterdam session for the recording of Stripped (you don't want to know who much that ticket was). Still the the best show on the road (though the U2 360 came damn close).

Mine are work to live and not live to work. At the end of this year or early 2012...have our wedding, move to the West Coast (South Island), spend more time 4wding and camping.

My main motivations are my son (15) and daughter (nearly 19). My old man died when I was 15 so I lost access to A LOT of family information that only he would have known, I didn't get to have a few beers with him and just chill...father and son.

NOW...i've reached a pinnacle and it's friggin brilliant!! I make sure i'm always handing out information about myself when I was younger, about the West Coast where my parents lived and what I remember as a toddler. I get to chill and have a few drinks with my daughter and her bf and my boy, he comes away with us nearly everytime we go to the coast which is all about staying at the hut, playing on the quad bikes, fishing, 4wding (he gets to drive the GQ to the hut if the river is behaving itself), last trip it was up and we only got out with the aid of swmbo jetboat with a 350 chev...the grin on my boys face - PRICELESS!

And I always make sure when i'm having a beer...he's got one as well!
