Allan Joyce in the last 3 years has taken over a 50% paycut because of failing profit margings,
if the company is now doing well, and recording huge gains in profit margins, the CEO deserves a pay increase! the end of the day, the buck starts and stops with him..
i dont understand these piolits, engeneer's etc.. they need to be thankful that they have a job, there are ALOT of people out there, that are capable of working, and would love to work, but there is just no positions out there for them.. im pretty sure, they would be thankful to be in a position and earning some income and not winging and biitching about how much they are getting...
my attitude is, everyone's replacable.. this is what the job is, this is what the pay is, etc etc, if you dont like it.. well buddy, dont let the door hit your ass on the way out! i surely could find someone that would be happy to do these jobs in these conditions!
I agree with Joyce, we need to keep up with the times, newer aircraft, newer procedures, newer technology, we are in a technology hugry world, its not going to be Joyce that brings this iconic company into the ground, it will be the unions, not allowing the company to change, to grow and adapt with the this day and ages world.
and ill cop some backlash here, the state and federal goverments need to shut there farking mouths, what right do they think they have to try and make rulings over a company? duh, isnt that why the compnay has a CEO, management teams etc etc?
and these uniions apparently have the workers best interests in intentions, my question to the unions, what ya gonna say when YOU bring this company down, and your precious workers are outta work not earning anything?
im sure there is loop hole, Joyce'y farrk the union, if they dont come to work, fire them and find new people! people that are happy to change and grow!
